The gardens are starting to give more crops and it seems that we’ve banned the rabbits from the main garden! All good things…

Saturday 9-12 let’s do farmstand out front on Ridgewood Road. With the gnats still being such a bother, we will probably set up on the driveway like last week. As soon as we go into the grass the gnats see that as an invitation to attack.

Menu:
Broccoli, kale, 1/2 bag of lettuce, Swiss chard, kohlrabi, radishes, maybe some Babybeats beets, a handful of peppers, fresh cut herbs, cut flowers, dried herbs, jams (freshly made peach!!), chai latte mix and seasoned salts. This afternoon, I’ll bake up some single serving Cherry Berry crisps with tart cherries, black raspberries, and strawberries – delicious combination!

New this year: There are 4 cookbooks available for you to browse or borrow! These books have good recipes – not fussy or overly complicated. One is all about cooking on sheet pans and it is loaded with great recipes from appetizers to desserts! Feel free to stop by and check them out.

No pre-ordering today, please. There’s a full list of outdoor tasks, baking, and prep for me. It’s going to be a long day!
