It’s Saturday morning, and my new routine is vastly different than just a month ago! I stayed in bed reading news, catching up on emails, and watching cute dog videos for a while before Daisy and I decided to get outside for our first outing. We sure have been enjoying the mild weather and abundant sunshine! We’ve been walking at local parks most of the last week, and it’s a great change of pace and, frankly, it is good for Daisy to get so much more exposure to new things and places. The upside is that we are walking more and she’s worn out!
Last Friday night I though we’d lose everything in the gardens when the temp dipped so low, but guess what? That didn’t happen. There was just enough air movement that we saw cold, but no frost. The beans were finished, but there are still great looking crops of Swiss chard and peppers! Yes, we’re coming up on Halloween and we are pretty full with peppers. Such a weird season. So, if you want chard or peppers, please let me know!

We’ve reached the time of year where I need the pick-up or meet-up sales to be able to cover my cover my obligations, order all the seeds for 2027, and plan for spring garden updates. So, if you want something, please send me a text. Want baked goods? Just say the word! I know. I know. Many of you don’t want to ask, but truly, baking and making are what I enjoy doing as the days get shorter and colder. Don’t be afraid to ask. If you want body products, you can always shop my display at Rescued, too. Want baked goods to take to a gathering – I can do that! Want something in quantity to give as gifts – I can do that! You get the picture 🙂 Oh – want something that I currently haven’t been making – ask me about it! That is how several things have come to be on the shelves here.
Hope you all have a great weekend and can enjoy some of the sunshine and great temperatures!
