Saturday morning you’ll find me out front with a great haul of tomatoes again! This is probably the last big one of the season. Some plants look tired and others look like it should be September, and yet others have flowers coming. Very weird, but we should be thankful and take what the gardens give us, right?
Check out your favorite recipe site for ideas on using salad and cherry tomatoes because we have lots! Also, the Roma plants were really quite well stocked today. There are one pound baskets and a five pound bag ready. They’re perfect for your freezer for winter soups, stew, sauces, and chili.
As this “menu” is being typed, you should know that it is from memory, so if there’s something that you want and don’t see it – please ask! I will tell you that there is no zucchini, yellow squash, or broccoli at this time.

There are always jams, chia latte mix and seasoned salts. In addition, there are some granolas and 12 mini coffee cakes with a cinnamon filling layer!
