Join me, Daisy Dog, and some fresh stuff out front under the trees this afternoon from 3:00-6:00 (or sellout). The weather is perfect! For those of you who may be new to Miss Amy’s, please pull into the parking area and pull up so others can get in and out. If you need help getting turned around to face the road when you leave, just say the word and I’ll be glad to help. Parking on or backing out onto Ridgewood Road isn’t the safest with traffic coming at such a high speed. We’ve got plenty of room.
Remember that the gardens are just starting to give much variety, and that your beloved green beans have struggled in the high heat. The new little beans that are growing look much better, and the heat-loving Jade beans are doing well under netting. Today is a good day to make cucumber salad, cucumber & onions, cucumber dip… You get the idea – there are lots of cucumbers again 🙂 There’s a binder with recipes, if you need some veggie inspiration! Scott’s *almost* famous cucumber dip/spread recipe is definitely in there.
