Although it would be perfect to have a mini farmstand Saturday morning, the reality is that there are a few big ticket items that need to get done here before I can commit to that. By Saturday afternoon things should be back on track and baking could be on my agenda. Do you know the saying “Momma needs a new pair of shoes” – well I need some parts for a new-to-me piece of equipment. It’s green, so parts are not cheap. So, let’s kick off May baking, flowers and such early!
From the gardens:
3 bags mixed lettuce $4 per bag
4-5 bundles radishes $1.50 per bundle
1/2 bag of kale $2 (the first picking of the season)
Fresh chives $1 per bundle

Banana nut granola $5 per 1/2 pound bag
Maple applesauce granola $5 per half pound bag
Small coffeecake (4″x 4″ pans) $4 for either cinnamon & brown sugar or fruit filling
Lemon blueberry breads $4 per mini loaf
French bread loaf $4 each
Italian focaccia bread $7.50 each
Jams $5 per half pint:
