Yes, it’s time to say goodbye to the weekly farmstand loaded with veggies. This is always such a happy and sad time. I’ll be happy to have a slower pace of life and get the landscape under control before snow flies, but sad that the gardens will be done soon. It takes some adjustment to not having the Saturday morning commitment and have that social time with all of you. So, let’s try to do a bake sale next Saturday to ease into the slowdown 🙂 Use the “Contact me” button in the lower right corner to send me your request for baked items.
There are still a handful of things growing and will give small crops next week, but overall, things are in a sharp decline. Next week’s warm forecast could get the last of the nice slicing tomatoes to ripen, and there will be a few pounds of cherry tomatoes, carrots, peppers, and a small harvest of beans. So, if you want any of these things next week, be sure to let me know and I’ll get you covered.
As for tomorrow, there is a good variety, just in smaller quantity than we’ve seen. All of the tomatoes and peppers still need to sorted, organized, weighed out into baskets, and flowers need to be put together.
No orders tonight, please
