Last week’s cooler weather has left and tomorrow looks to be miserable with a heat index of over 100 degrees for much of the day. So, instead of standing in the heat with wilting veggies, let’s do some pick-up orders. I’ll pick this evening and be ready for you on Wednesday – just let me know what time works for you to pick up.
Things have slowed tremendously, so the bulk of what we’ll have is tomatoes and peppers. Luckily, getting them prepped for your freezer is the perfect indoor task while it’s super hot outside. My time will be spent making more jams, baking granola and biscotti, and trying to keep things watered. All in all, a much slower pace for a few days here, and that suits me just fine. August was a tough one! Please use the “contact me” button in the lower right corner of your screen to reply – that keeps everything in one place for me.
