The high heat began last Sunday, and it stayed longer than originally planned. That sure made for a sweaty week over here! Although it meant working in shifts with plenty of breaks and hydration, things were picked and sent to buyers. Nothing went to waste – so thank you!!

Two weeks ago, I posted video updates from each of the three main garden areas, and tonight there are fresh ones for you to view. Herbs, flowers, cucumbers, peas and beans continue to need homes. There are a couple of people still on that bean waiting list, but they’ll each get some soon! Check out the videos and let me know if you want anything this week.

Monday should be a great day for maintenance of the gardens; otherwise known as Weed, Seed, Tuck/Train/Trim. These basics were bypassed during that hot week, so it’s going to take some work to get things back into shape. That’s the kind of thing I love to do, but who thought that planting 57 tomatoes was a great idea??!! Hahaha! Hope you’re all ready to start the week. See you soon!
