Have you seen the forecast for Wednesday afternoon?? It has consistently said rain in the afternoon, but now it’s suspected that we’ll have high winds and hail. So, here’s my thought: I’ll pick beans tonight as soon as we finish dinner. Then, you send me your list of things you want and I’ll get everything picked tomorrow (Tuesday). Pick-up can be Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning, and I will definitely let you know when your items are picked and ready. This option will also let me spend Wednesday afternoon in the kitchen making more jam and listening to the storm.
Menu Items (that I believe can be picked):
Slicing tomatoes $1 each
Small slicing tomatoes .50 each
Cherry Tomatoes $3 per 1# basket
Roma tomatoes $1.50 per 1# basket
San Marzano tomatoes $2 per 1# basket (these are going to finish soon)
Cucumbers (long slicers or pickling) .50 each or 6/$2.50
Beans $4 per pound
Beets $3 per bundle
Bell peppers .75 each (a few are red)
Banana peppers .50 each
Carmen .75 each (taste like a bell but w/o the acid)
Jalapeno or Serrano peppers .25 each
Flowers $1 bouquets, maybe a couple of $5 bouquets
This is the best way I could figure out how to get things picked that really need to be picked, stay safe & dry, and get fresh veggies to all of you. Thanks for always being flexible!
