Last night, I made a batch of Cardamom cookies and there are 4 bags (18 small cookies each at $3 per bag) available. Today, there was a batch of SBR (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry) jam, a big batch of Very Berry (low sugar) jam made, and Cherry Crisps just came out of the oven! There are 8 single serving crisps available at $2 each.

There is also plenty of chai latte mix, 1 jar of dark cocoa mix, dried herbs, other jams, banana pepper rings, hot peppers, and green tomato pickles on the shelf. More jams on the agenda for Sunday.

I’ve got a pint and a quart jar of instant potato soup mix on the shelf. This uses instant mashed potato flakes, powdered milk, powdered chicken soup base, dried onion, chives, oregano, a little salt & pepper, and turmeric. The mixture has been put through the food processor to make it uniform. A nice bowl of soup uses 1/3 cup of the mix and 3/4 cup of boiling water. Mix it well (I have used a fork or small whisk to get it smooth). Let it stand for 2 minutes and you’ve got a great, fast bowl of soup. Add salt and pepper to your taste and top with your favorites like shredded cheddar, bacon crumbles, steamed broccoli, or use up what you have on hand. The pint jar is $5 and makes 6 servings, while the quart jar makes 12 servings and is $10. I can make more if there is interest.
