This month sure has slipped away quickly! My time has been spent making products, baking, researching seed varieties, ordering seeds, looking at new recipes and chatting with friends.
My booth at Rescued in downtown Silvis is well stocked and the store will be open today (Friday) and Saturday from 10:00 to 4:00. It will also be open on Tuesday from 10:00 until 2:00. All Christmas merchandise in the store will be 75% off, and if you buy a $20 store gift certificate, they’ll add another $5 – that’s a great deal!
If you need jam, I’ve got a decent supply on the shelf. There are also 2 jars of mild salsa, several jars of banana peppers, hot pickled peppers, and pickled green tomatoes (green tomatoes, onion, peppers). All would be good on a pan of nachos, as a sandwich topping (think Italian beef or hoagies), or as a topping for a roast in the crockpot (think Mississippi pot roast). They could also be drained and added to your charcuterie board. Get in touch if you want something!
